2025 has got off to a great start for Hels Bells club members! Classes have been super busy and there is a great buzz in class. <\/p>

The Simple & Sinister progression has started well and our double press progression is building on what was achieved from the end of last year.<\/p>

6 individuals completed the January beginners workshop & have utilised their first month of free training. For the time being Hels Bells books for evening classes is closed. Numbers are buoyant and it\u2019s important for me to ensure I can keep everyone safe and injury free. But if you are keen to join please do message me and I\u2019ll be in touch as soon as spaces become available. <\/p>

This weekend we are out on a club night to Blame Gloria in Bristol! With over 20 club members attending. It promises to be a good night and is always great to get together outside of club. <\/p>

Our first club member of 2025 is a good one! Tori joined Hels Bells last summer. Her previous experience of gym classes was somewhat dubious so she was a little anxious. However having been recommended by a good friend she decided to take the plunge and has literally not looked back.<\/p>

Slowly but surely Tori has trained consistently for over 6 months and has started to see the changes that kettlebells can bring. To state the obvious her strength has improved. She is confidently pressing double 14\u2019s and swinging heavier bells both one handed and two handed. <\/p>

But most notable is her improvement of the TGU. When Tori first joined she couldn\u2019t get up off the floor so we broke down the elements of the TGU to make it manageable in order to build up her leg strength. Fast forward 6 months and Tori performed a TGU this week with a 10kg! Which is huge achievement. <\/p>

For me though, the transformation, and reason why she utterly deserves club member of the month, is because I have witnessed Tori\u2019s mental strength and confidence grow. She has become an integral member of the club. Supportive and kind to others, including myself. Her self belief has improved and she comes to class with a \u2018can do\u2019 attitude and a big smile on her face. Since January she has trained 4x a week demonstrating tenacity, grit and determination. <\/p>

She\u2019s eminently coachable and happy to take on board advice and support when required, which is supporting her to get stronger and stay safe. As a coach she makes my job easy and enjoyable. <\/p>

Tori, I always know a club member deserves the award when it\u2019s an easy blog to write. You totally deserve your new Hels Bells water bottle and should be proud of all you\u2019ve achieved so far. <\/p>
