Another productive and busy month for club members with everyone completing the snatch test. This was the culmination of a terms worth of training where we have drilled down into technique but also building up everyone\u2019s endurance. The results were fantastic with everyone making progress! I was really delighted with the results.\"\"
Two inductions also took place and I am enjoying working with the new club members supporting and watching them to improve their technique and begin to increase their strength. The next induction won\u2019t take place now until September now, once the summer holidays are finished and we settle into the Autumn term. With so many individuals making progress on the snatch test it has made the job of choosing a club member of the month difficult once again. There have been many notable results for individuals, with Jenny G using the 24kg for the TGU, Matt R and Mel completing their first snatch test confidently and Michele doing the snatch test with a 12kg. The standard for a woman over 50.<\/p>

The individual who has been earned the award for July, has not only performed well in the snatch test, but has had outstanding results in all areas over the past few months. Making great progress. I am delighted to announce that Club Member of the month goes to Emma R!<\/p>

Emma joined the club a year ago initially as an evening member but has recently transitioned to day time sessions. From the outset Emma has been committed and attended regularly twice a week. She had a good basic understanding of kettlebells prior to joining having completed some strength training in the past which meant we had a great starting point for her. Over the past year Emma has worked hard on her technique; she is open to advice and keen to improve and consequently she has done just that\u2026.got stronger and better.<\/p>

Having never completed a snatch test before Emma smashed it out with a 12kg. And if I\u2019m honest could easily use a 14kg, and she has significantly moved up the weights with her two handed swings and TGU. When she started she was swinging the 12kg and now confidently uses the 24kg for two handed swings interspersing it with the 28kg.<\/p>

I set Emma a challenge this term to complete 4\/5 TGU\u2019s using the 18kg and she did just that\u2026and more! She\u2019s now beginning to integrate the 20kg. What\u2019s more is she does it with confidence and control.<\/p>

Coaching Emma is a pleasure. She is keen to improve, listens and work hard every session. Juggling a busy life and often coming to sessions straight from a night shift, Emma\u2019s energy and commitment is to be commended. And I am really proud of the progress she has made.<\/p>

Emma has become an integral club members, taking part in the club challenges, joining in with our charity event earlier this year and attending the club socials. It really is great to have her on board and I am confident that as she continues to train her strength will go through the roof over the coming months.<\/p>

A huge well done Emma, on all you have achieved since joining Hels Bells. I feel privileged to be your coach.<\/p>
