Martin has been a Hels Bells club member for many years, and attends classes with his wife and daughter, so it really is a family affair! <\/p>Classes throughout August were really well attended and even though it was the summer hols many club members continued to train consistently. Which was great to see. <\/p>
We finished our heavy two handed swing progression. And have now moved onto a new press progression. Which is different to what we normally do as the focus is volume as opposed to weight.<\/p>
We also started a \u2018on the minute every minute\u2019 challenge. With options to suit all club members. Differentiation at its best!!! <\/p>
Club member of the month for August is long over due and I am delighted to award it this month to Martin.<\/p>

His technique is polished and he in very coachable; happy to accept advice to improve and still keen to progress despite training for many years.<\/p>
Of late though, the whole family, Martin included have really upped their game and for many months he has trained consistently at least twice a week if not three. Consequently his progress has gone through the roof. Technique has been refined further and Martin is using much heavier bells consistently.<\/p>
Aside from the huge improvements in his strength Martin has also significantly reduced his body fat and weight and is most definitely seeing the benefits as a result of the weight loss. He has commented he feels so much better for the lifestyle changes he has made and has more energy. Plus some of the niggles he has experienced over the years have subsided. <\/p>
Martin is an integral club member, has a great sense of humour and is supportive of others when he trains. The gents he works with enjoy his sense of fun and support. <\/p>
It really is a pleasure to coach Martin and wonderful to watch the progress he has made this year. <\/p>
Congratulations on all you have achieved Martin. <\/p>
